Budna Almost Got Beat Down In San Felipe

Joseph Budna, the self-proclaimed journalist and social media gadfly - got a sharp comeuppance when he was attacked today in San Felipe, Orange Walk. And, undaunted, Budna live-streamed the entire encounter - when a man angrily charged at him with some form of weapon - resembling a whip.

Budna told the man not to touch him but the man appears to have whipped him anyway. Budna tried to run away and the man ultimately retreated. Later, in another livestream, Budna claims that they were trying to intimidate him, since he was looking into a land scandal. He says he will report the matter to the police.
