Missing Guatemalan Student Found Safe In Orange Walk

There was relief today when 13 year old missing girl Lizy Suntecun was found alive and well. That's after she was reported missing on Monday. Suntecun is a Guatemalan student who attends school in Benque Viejo. Reports are that she left school in the afternoon with her aunt and wasn't seen again. Today ASP Smith told us that she was found in Guinea Grass Village in Orange Walk and that several people have been detained.

One of the charges that can be levied in harboring a minor, but the department is awaiting instructions from the DPP.
