Marvin and Lena Plett, they are the mennonite couple accused of the manslaughter of baby of their 4-year-old foster child, Ayana Bennett (Moody), who passed away on November 17, 2023.
Well today in the Belmopan High Court their trial was supposed to begin, but it was adjourned until June 26th. The couple is represented by attorney Leeroy Banner.
A trial within a trial held weeks ago found that Lena Plett's recorded statement can be admitted as evidence.
