Today the parents for children with special needs organized the annual disability parade. But they didn't do it asking for sympathy or special treatment; they did it with flair and finesse, incorporating colorful cultural elements. We caught up with the parade in the city streets this morning and organizer Lulette Romero told us why it's important that they have this interaction with the community.

"It is the culmination of Disability Week that started from the 26th and it is just the culmination and so what we do is display what the children with specials do in their everyday life."
