And despite all that bad blood, Black Pearl took first in the junior category. With the other carnival bands, they will be honored at an awards ceremony tomorrow evening at the House of Culture. And there is a lot to award: not least of all the mad dedication and creativity it takes to put together a carnival band. Tonight we close looking back at the product of those months of hard work.
