Joshua Arana, Drummer
“Garifuna drumming, not only to Garifuna people but to all Belizeans and also to the world. If you go through the DVD you will see that we have basic rhythm patterns, basic rhythm structures on the DVD. We have hand movements, techniques, we have everything there that can help you to learn how to play the Garifuna drums. The DVD basically is to show drummers like myself that what they do on a day to day basis with their drumming talent is good but you can also think outside the box and do other things with your drumming talent. Also we would like to push it through the schools, to the kids who would like to learn.
The DVD has been released and is available for sale widely.
