The impressive list of performers for Saturday night’s Help Haiti Benefit Concert and Telethon continues to grow. Last night you heard from Berne and today we spoke to the legendary Lord Rhaburn about why he decided to be a part of the show.
Lord Rhaburn,
“Disaster is for everyone and we are vulnerable to almost everything that is happening in Haiti. The next thing is that we must get up and help our own. As far as I am concerned, Haitians are Belizeans and Belizeans are Haitians. It is a disaster and every penny counts. We need everyone to be active in this show that is coming up. We need people to support it and by your support, whatever little you can give will be accepted and we know from the scenes we are seeing abroad that the Haitians need it.
I just wish God’s blessing for the people in Haiti and that they come through this with less casualties than they already have.”
Saturday night’s show will be held at the Bliss, and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and KREM Television and Radio. You are encouraged to call in with your pledges and come out and see a star studded show.
