On Wednesday we revisited our story listing some of the varieties of Belize's favorite fruit, mangoes. Any mango lover could probably name a few kinds off the top of their head, but a real mango aficionado could name even the more obscure ones - like, for example Tommy Atkins, Tommy Shaw, and their creole cousin, Tanga Shaw.
And our local mango researcher, Noel Gillett, has dedicated years to finding out just how many types there are in Belize. Last time we spoke to him, he'd documented 32, and now that number is up to almost 70.
We spoke to him again for an update. Courtney Menzies has this story.
