Today, public officers who have dedicated their lives to serving Belizeans were recognized at the Long Service Awards. Their jobs are often thankless, but necessary to keep the country running, and that's why the Minister of Public Service chose to acknowledge them at a ceremony with their loved ones in attendance. And one "keeper of the flame" - that is, a public officer who gives twenty or more years in service - former Chief Magistrate Sharon Frazer was also awarded for her 34 years.
