Last week the Minister of Transport announced that one of the regulations they are planning to implement for motorcycle drivers is a two week driving course. He added that it would be no more than $300, but Belizeans on Facebook misinterpreted his statement, railing against the ministry for such an exorbitant cost. And the CEO - who is always scrolling the socials - was quick to clarify that no, the courses won't cost $300, but they can cost up to $300. He explained it on Sunup on 7 yesterday.
