Update on Injured Baby

4 month baby Ashley Chimilio remains in the pediatric ward at the KHMH tonight. She is in a guarded condition as neurosurgeon; Dr. Giovanni Lara prepares to operate on the child's fractured skull tomorrow. As with any operation on the skull, the procedure involves risks and until that is finished, doctors do not want to speculate on what may be the outcome.

As we reported last night, the four month old was injured when she and her mother were caught in the middle of a rock-throwing dispute in Libertad village.
