Chief Justice Conteh Recovering from Stroke

There were concerns this morning for the health of Chief Justice Abdulai Conteh. This evening 7NEWS confirmed that the 61 year old is at a local hospital recovering from a stroke he suffered late Sunday night. He is reported to be speaking and moving, but at this time there is no telling the timeframe or prognosis for his recovery.

His absence was noted this morning because he was supposed to have started hear the Chamber of Commerce's judicial review of Cabinet's decision to not recover all revenue collected by BELIPO and the private registry.
