Cyclist Who Swerved Into Bus \"Very Critical\

40 year old Richard Cal is in what doctors say is a "very critical condition" tonight at the KHMH. He's the man who was run over by a bus yesterday in Belmopan. Yesterday afternoon at 4:00, the Maya Mopan resident was riding a bicycle on the CONSTITUTION DRIVE when police say he swerved into the path of an oncoming bus. The driver then swerved the bus to avoid hitting Cal, but the collided into the front portion of the bus. He received a large cut wound to the back of his head, and left side of head and ear and a fractured right elbow. His head injuries are the most serious and he remains - as we said - in critical condition tonight.
