And in health news, tonight the Ministry is reminding the public of what medications are actually allowed to be sold over the counter, and without a prescription. These include paracetamols such as Tylenol, ibuprofen, combination cough and cold relief such as Dayquil, oral lozenges or cough drops, hydrogen peroxide, topical pain or itch relief, and others. The entire list can be found on the Ministry of Health and Wellness' Facebook page as well as the Government Press Office Page.

Only the medications found on the list can be sold in any establishment that does not possess a valid facility license from MOHW, including supermarkets, grocery stores, and gas stations.

Additionally, MOHW is also reminding the owners of these establishments that drug inspectors are authorized to enter and inspect anywhere drugs are manufactured, stored or sold, and can seize any drugs that are unauthorized.
