Mexican Foreign Minister In Town

In Belize as part of the inauguration of The Institute of Creative Arts are the Mexican foreign secretary Dr. Luis Ernesto Derbez and Undersecretary of Foreign Relations Dr. Miguel Hakim.

But before the big ceremony Prime Minister Hon. Said Musa and Foreign Affairs Minister Hon. Godfrey Smith are meeting with the dignitaries. Discussions include cooperation on investment and trade, border commerce between Belize and Mexico, as well as the construction of a new bridge at the Santa Elena border and cooperation in areas of education and developments in the Plan Puebla Panama.

After the meetings secretary Derbez will participate in the official inauguration of the new Bliss Center for the Performing arts.
