Earlier this week we shared with you a flyer from the British High Commission in Belize detailing that "Belizeans will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation to travel to the UK from 8 January 2025, whether they are transiting or visiting the UK." Today the British High Commission states that the ETA is not a Visa, it is a digital permission to travel, and by the end of 2025, all travellers to the UK - except British and Irish citizens - will need permission to travel in advance through either an ETA or an eVisa. The cost for the ETA is between $25-30Bz and applications for an ETA are now open and can be accessed on the UK Government's web page.
