Depending on where you live on this speeding planet, it only comes around twice a year, or three times if you are lucky but the next one won't be until 2007 and so we close tonight with images of last night's total lunar eclipse.
The spectacular light show was caused when the earth passed directly between the sun and the moon. Locally the eclipse started around 7:15 and is estimated to have lasted three hours and 20 minutes. The next lunar eclipse will be in March of 2007.
