Right about now, a forum on the Belize-Guatemala issue is starting up at the Holy Redeemer Parish Hall. It's an old subject but there's still plenty to explore. And tonight, the UBAD Educational Foundation and Amandala have invited some fresh faces to speak on it,
Ya-Ya Marin Coleman, Organizer
"What we are excited about with these three speakers are they are going to bring the relevance of the Belize-Guatemala concern to our reality today, that it does affect us on a daily basis and why we need to know about it. So you must come out tonight, Holy Redeemer Parish Hall, 7:30 sharp to 9:30. We have an hour of presentations and then we have an hour of questions and answers. Everyone needs to go, especially people who are Belizeans - whether they are naturalized or born Belizeans because this has to do with our country and we need to be informed and educated about this particular issue which is the Belize-Guatemala border concern. UEF and Amandala knows that the more informed you are, the more empowered you will be - the more you hold yourself and leaders accountable."
As she said the forum is on now and it is open to the public.
