And one man who for sure should shouldn't be expecting a new vehicle is the chairman of the elections and boundaries commission, attorney Steve Perrera.
Perrera was appointed in the last months of the Barrow administration - and says he is under no compulsion to resign since his post is constitutionally enshrined.
Today in the house, the Prime Minister made an impassioned presentation saying that it is the custom for all chairpersons and the elections and boundaries commission to resign in the event of a change of government. He lamented that Perrera had not done so. Speaking outside the house, he said, he expects that Perrera will resign:
When we spoke to Perrera two days ago - it was clear that he had no intentions of resigning.
