And while he declined to comment on the so-called 'UDP Agreement' the Minister of Education and Culture did register his concern about another Bill, the Special Prosecutor's Bill. It was sent back by the senate because it is unconstitutional.
Though the UDP led the charge against it in the Senate, Fonseca said he kind of agrees.

"Yeah. I think the Senate has provided some I think some good valid points. I think that require the attention of the Cabinet. So we will absolutely be taking another look at that. I think there are amendments that can be made to satisfy some of the concerns that have been raised. So I share the concerns and I think it's something we have to address."
We note that this bill was sent back to Cabinet and the AG's Ministry by the PUP's Leader of Government Business on Monday and news of the Attorney General's resignation came out 24 hours later.
