But even though his spot is reserved on the "New-DP's" leadership team, Patt made it clear today that he's not a part of that "mixup-mixup."
Today he issued a short statement getting right to the point: that he's not associated with the Alliance for Democracy's event held on Sunday. He stated, quote, "I continue to serve as the duly elected 1st Deputy Party Leader and a member of the National Executive and leadership team, alongside Party Leader Hon. Shyne Barrow, Chairman Michael Peyrefitte and Deputy Chairman Alberto August elected at a National Party Convention held on August 13, 2023." End quote.
He ends the statement by saying he will continue to work for the UDP and the people of Corozal North. So it doesn't seem like he's switching sides any time soon.
