When Is Election? PM Still Sticking To The Six Month Window

So, for the time being, the PM isn't thinking of a succession plan - because the paramount consideration in early 2025 is: "when will he call the general election?"

This morning on Sunup, the PM brought us no closer to a precise date - again only confining it to the first 6 months of the year:

"So I'm not going to announce the election today, but I can tell you that I did tell the cabinet when we had our first cabinet meeting, I said, listen, get ready. I'm looking anywhere between March and June, you know, because you need enough time to give it all, to get ready for an election - a lot of things, moving parts."
