The Belize Peace Movement has been waiting well over a month for its day in court. They also have a redistricting case against the government but theirs has been stalled. But today they've finally gotten a date for oral hearings. On March 4th - eight days before the election - they'll be able to present their case - only 8 days before the general elections. They're hoping that the ruling will be in their favor and they'll be able to stop the elections until after a redistricting process takes place. That has no precedent in judicial history, but we'll see. They're represented by attorney Sharon Pitts.
