And Broaster isn't standing alone - the UDP issued a press release yesterday calling for Oscar Mira's immediate removal from government. But Briceno maintained that the opposition's former party leader would not have taken action against his minister.

"I don't think the UDP has any moral authority to speak when it comes to those issues because if you were to remember, the then prime minister would defend defend defend until he absolutely couldn't do better, in our case we take actions immediately and we need to be able to get to the bottom of this."
