The Government of Belize and the National Meteorological Service have received a donation of an evapo-transpiration station. It was made possible through a partnership between the Government, the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (5Cs), and the European Union.
This weather station is one of 1 of 3 that has been purchased for Belize, and one of 41 that have been funded under the Intra-ACP EU-GCCA+ Project.
The equipment was handed over today at a ceremony at the Central Farm in the Cayo District, and with help from the Government Press Office, here's a small excerpt:
These stations have been installed in Toledo, Orange Walk, and Central Farm.
