BTL's Union Weighing Options

Labor relations at BTL continue to be strained tonight as the union is weighing its options which include issuing a 21 day notice of industrial action.

Up to this evening the union again deferred its decision after management sent a letter to try and avert the declaration of industrial action. Union representatives say that they are examining the latest offer, and should make a final decision shortly. The union continues to be aggrieved that its long pending collective bargaining agreement is still not finalized.
