Teenager Charged for Sexually Assaulting Little Girl

A 16 year old teenage boy from Belmopan is out on bail tonight after he was charged with the sexual assault of his 5 year old next door neighbor.

The disturbing story is out of the Salvapan Area of Belmopan where yesterday morning the 5 year old victim ran home complaining of pain in her genitals. A doctor at the Belmopan Hospital confirmed that the little girl had been carnally known. The 16 year old accused sexual offender, whose name was not released because he is a minor, was today charged in court with unlawful carnal knowledge.

And if this story couldn't get much worse, it is; police investigators say this isn't the first time the teenage boy has sexually assaulted the child.
