We have good news to report tonight for all you fans of Busta brand soft drinks. Yesterday morning Grace Kennedy Limited, the importers of Busta, made another request to the Ministry of Commerce for a permit to import the popular beverage into the country. And by yesterday evening, Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Commerce Sandra Hall confirmed to 7NEWS that she had signed the permit for Busta to be imported. The importer tells us that in about 6 weeks you can expect a new shipment to arrive. Hall told us the permit for Busta was approved mainly because it is produced in Trinidad - a part of CARICOM.

The news isn't so good for other soft drinks imported from North and Central America. Hall told us government is still looking at those drinks which are similar to those produced in Belize.
