The price of a hundred pound cylinder of butane gas has shot up a startling $9. That's right, today the price jumped from $93 to $102 in Belize City. In Belmopan and Dangriga the price is now $104; in San Ignacio it's $107; in Benque it's $108 dollars; in Orange Walk $103; $102 in Corozal, and $105 in Punta Gorda.
