Recently the pump price for fuel fell to a ten year low and while we all enjoyed it, we all knew that it was too good to last. Well, tonight we can report that fuel prices have surged up, all above the five dollar mark. Diesel has increased from $4.41 per gallon to $5.33; premium has increased from $5.41 to $5.65 and regular has increased by almost a dollar from $4.55 to $5.48.
Government still has not tinkered with the fixed formula revenue replacement duty –so the increases are reflective of world crude prices which have been going up recently – though they fell by four dollars today.
