Government acquired Telemedia a little over one month ago on August 24th. Since then the company’s day to day affairs has been run by an executive committee Led by Executive Chairman Net Vasquez with Director Anuar Barrow. And while the executive Chairman has basically taken the job of Chief Executive Officer, now the post of Chief Operations Officer has been created for one of the company’s most senior executives Karen Bevans.
Bevans has been working with BTL for over 20 years and while she gets a promotion to the most senior post for non-directors, she does lose a lot of words in her title. She was most recently the “Manager for Business Development, International Relations, Marketing, Research and Development, Directory Services and Public Relations.”
That’s a 15 word job title! Now it’s just three. And according to a company release she will report directly to the executive committee and will be responsible for the day to day management of the company.
