A winner claimed the 65 thousand dollar lotto jackpot today. She is Taneesha Beaton and she told us she couldn't believe she had won.
Taneesha Beaton, Lotto winner
"My mother told me - she knocks on my door and say that I won the Lotto and my response was 'yeah right'. I don't know why I keep saying that but it's the truth. Whenever my parents win free tickets - I would take the free ticket to change and that's what I won from - a free ticket. I don't buy the Lotto at all - it's only when my parents win the free ticket then I take that free ticket and I change it. I have a school and so i am going to pay that off. I have two younger brothers who want to go to university - I am going to help them out and of course I am going to build my house and help my family out."
After taxes she took home 55,250 dollars.
