They were accused of holding up a game room at gunpoint and almost killing the manager but today two men, 28 year old Paul White and 21 year old Al Young Jones, charged with attempted murder and attempted robbery, were acquitted of the charges in the court of Justice Herbert Lord.

Justice Lord directed the jury of 9 to return a formal verdict of not guilty for both counts after the complainant, 30 year old Feliciano Coy, took the witness stand and said he does not want any further court action.

On Friday, October 23, 2009, at Diamond Entertainment Center, on St Thomas Street. Coy, reported to the police that two men entered and the man with dread pointed a pistol at him and demanded that he hand over everything. Coy said the man pulled the trigger but the pistol misfired and he began to struggle with him.

During the struggle the other took the gun and fired a shot at Coy but missed. Both men then ran out of the bar and rode away on bicycles, said Coy. White and Jones were not represented by an attorney. Crown Counsel Sheneiza Smith represented the prosecution.
