Citrus Payment Signed Off On, But Still Not Paid

The woes in the citrus industry continue tonight - and the much anticipated, long-overdue payment checks still have not been released.

They were due on the 17th. and after the now standard dispute between the Citrus Industry stakeholders, things should have been resolved this week.

But the Citrus Growers Association sent out a release this evening, saying they've signed off on all the bank documents as required on Wednesday morning, but things are still inexplicably delayed.

A new date for payment is expected on Monday.
