And back to Belmopan, the government brass is clearing the way for agroproducers to get their product to the market.

Today in Belmopan, the newly named CEO in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise, Servulo Baeza, along with his Minister, Jose Mai, met with the Commissioner of Police to discuss how the curfew will affect agro-producers.

The Ministry is trying to ensure that impact will be minimal on the productive sector since the producers will need to move essential goods during the curfew hours.

Also present at the meeting was Rodwell Ferguson, the minister of Public Utilities, Oscar Requena, Minister of Rural Transformation, and Orlando Habet, Minister of Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management.
