Diesel Going Up By Half A Dollar

The price of a gallon of diesel is going up by almost half a dollar at midnight tonight. Government announced this afternoon that the pump price of diesel is increasing by 47 cents from $10.04 to $10.51 per gallon - a 4.7% increase. One year ago at this time, the price of a gallon of diesel was 7 dollars and 28 cents, more than three dollars less than the new price.

The prices for other fuels will remain unchanged.
