And while the churches want the marijuana bill to come to a stop, the government has given the greenlight to the National Agriculture and Trade Show. "Agric," as most Belizeans call it, is set for May 27th, 28th, and 29th. According to a press release, preparation of the ground is currently underway and the committee is advising that they are now taking reservations as well as purchases of the concession stands, food stalls, and commercial booths. 2019 leaseholders have until April 8th to confirm if they want to re-establish their booth leases. And effective Monday, April 11th, potential new vendors or those wishing to relocate will be invited to do so by visiting the showground to view available spaces. Vendors with down payments will have until May 13th to complete those payments after which the deposit becomes non-refundable.
