PUC And BEL Finally Agree On Rates

As you may have seen earlier in the news the Public Utilities Commission has finally agreed with BEL. This is for its Annual Review Proceeding submission made in April. The power monopoly proposed to maintain the current tariffs, fees and charges and to defer any increases to a later tariff period, quote, "in consideration of the challenging economic constraints our Customers continue to face."

BEL says it is doing this, quote, "despite appreciable increases in business costs."
