The Belize Agricultural Health Authority signed a collective bargaining agreement with the Public Service Union of Belize today. It will benefit 114 employees who were transferred from the Ministry of Agriculture to BAHA in the year 2000.
A release says this agreement will now enable officers to have access to benefits such as housing, meal and incentive allowances, tiered severance pay, merit-based awards, grievance procedures, professional development opportunities and other benefits through BAHA's relationship with the PSU.
