Can A New Road Put CFZ In The Zone Again?

Since 1995 The Corozal Free Zone became a major force in the economy, boosting economic growth and providing jobs for Belizeans.

But, in the past few years, economic activity in the zone has seen a sharp downturn.

In an attempt to rectify this, they're building a new road. RJB Construction Co. Ltd has been awarded a 2.9 Million dollar contract to commence the Corozal Free Zone Access Road Project, paving the way for economic growth and activity.

The signing ceremony took place today and the CEO of the Freezone, Neri Ramirez made these remarks at the ceremony.
