The 4th National's Children's Parliament debate took place today at the National Assembly building in Belmopan. It's the day when real children take over the parliament from the adults who often act like children - and show what mature, informed debate actually sounds like - instead of the usual name calling, mud slinging, "pikni" provocation that passes for debate amongst the 31 PUDP representatives.

This year's debate was focused on Child marriage. Jomarie Lanza attended and got to hear some of the vigorous speeches presented today.

The event is meant to coincide with World Children's Day, and is organized by the NCFC.
