It seems that those stick-up criminals who pull off daring daylight jackings are not letting off and were at it again. Dennis Cadle, a coke deliveryman was delivering soft drinks on Mahogany Street extension yesterday afternoon at three thirty when a brown skin man stuck a gun in his face and demanded that he hand over his waist bag. He promptly complied and handed over 141.00 which he had collected from the day's sale. But Cadle is not the only one to report a robbery. A day earlier a 17 year old student reported to police that while walking on a street in the King's Park area she was approached by a man who questioned her. She ignored him and kept on walking. Maybe upset by the young lady's reaction, the man took out a knife and approached the 17 year old. She immediately began to scream and upon seeing this the assailant placed the knife in his pocket, grabbed her by the waist and in an effort to quiet her down he slapped her in the face. The man then pulled her and ordered her to walk with him, fearing for her life she complied. shortly thereafter a man in a vehicle seeing the unwillingness of the young lady stopped alongside her and she quickly jumped into the vehicle. Police have since detained Lincoln Ellis of a Baracat Street address pending charges.
