Post Mortem Reveals Cause Of Drowning At Pickwick Pool

On Tuesday the 23rd at 2:40 in the morning, 29 year old electrician Emilio Martin was taking an early morning dip in the Pickwick pool with his female friend Beverly Luriano. The report made was that Martin dived into the deep part of the pool and suffered a head injury which caused him to drown. However, post mortem results confirmed that the cause of death was due to bronchial aspiration syndrome, which is the blockage of the lungs caused by the food he ate before jumping into the water. Martin was taken out of the pool by the security guard and when the B.E.R.T. team arrived at 2:50a.m. he was pronounced dead.
