He made a bid for freedom yesterday and it was granted; but the joy would be short lived as today 23-year-old Honduran national Israel Hernandez Orellano had to reappear in Magistrate's Court.

He was taken before Magistrate Dorothy Flowers and read charges of murder. The prosecution handed over transcripts of the case to Orellano after which he was remanded for a month.

Yesterday Hernandez's attorney had successfully argued that the prosecution had enough time to prepare a case against his client and had not done so leaving a possibly innocent man in jail.

He was set free only to be detained by police immediately and re-charged today.

Hernandez is accused of killing his cousin Saul Montejo Portillo at Lindo's alley on August 2 of last year.
