Last year P.C. Patrick Roaches along with two other police officers were charged for allegedly jacking a couple of Chinese grocery stores and taking away some Boledo books. It was a sensational claim, but the case was thrown out of court. Still, Roaches was brought up on internal disciplinary charges. In May of this year a tribunal found Roaches guilty of four charges of prejudice to good order and it was recommended that he be dismissed.

On June 2nd, Roaches visited the office of Inspector Chester Williams and Williams claims demanded his dismissal letter using curse words. But there was no letter, because the Commissioner hadn't signed it, so when he was leaving an angry Roaches dared the Inspector to lock him up like he did P.C. Elmer Nah so he could sue Williams.

Well, Chester Williams is no genie, but this time, Roaches' wish was granted in mere seconds. Williams locked down Roaches for 24 hours and then criminally charged him for disorderly behavior and using insulting words. Those charges were later downgraded to internal charges of prejudice of good order and discipline and disrespectful in words to a superior officer. Now, Roaches says he'll sue the department and says he's not sure he'll be returning ring to work.

As for Inspector Williams, he today told us that Roaches was thoroughly disrespectful and insulting while in his office, and showed unacceptable indiscipline towards a superior officer.
