Teen Survives Broken Pint Bottle Attack

A 13-year-old young man is in the KHMH tonight recovering from injuries he received when he was attacked by another young teen with a broken pint bottle.

Last night the victim Lewis Hamilton was stabbed in his abdomen by the other teen who police have yet to arrest. The family told 7NEWS that around 9 Lewis was at this phone booth near his home on Nurse Findley Crescent when his attacker broke a pint bottle and stabbed him. Lewis was taken to the KHMH where tonight he is recovering. No motive is known since the young men had no prior misunderstanding.

Lewis Hamilton who is 13 recently graduated from St. John's Vianney Primary School and will start Gwen Lizarraga High School this August. His prognosis for afull recovery is good.
