Cane Cutter found Dead on Orange Walk Farm

A cane cutter was found dead yesterday in a field outside of Trinidad Village in Northern Belize, but Orange Walk police do not suspect foul play. He was last seen at 5:00 am when he went out into the fields but when he didn't return home at noon, search teams were dispatched. And last night at 8:20 they found the body of 42 year old Salvadoran Jose Luis Mario Gonzalez dead in the field. There were no signs of violence to the body but police did observe what appeared to be snakebites to his back and right hand. Still, police say they will not make a conclusion until a post mortem is conducted.
