Be on the Lookout for Africanized Bees

It's that time of year when africanized bees are swarming that is bee colonies splitting into smaller ones to form new ones. For many this is a scary time as the bees are known to attack animals and humans and for persons having allergies to bee stings it could mean serious medical complications or even death. With that, the Ministry of Agriculture has issued an advisory on how to proceed when swarms are encountered. They advise that the Department of Agriculture will deal with the swarms promptly during the week. During the weekends the public is advised to call the Fire Department.
