A 30 year old man is in jail tonight after being charged with incest. A 9 year old girl told police that in April of this year her father, 30 year old Robert Parham had sexual intercourse with her. A medical examination confirmed the child's accusation, and her father was then arrested. He today appeared in Magistrate's Court before Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord where he was formally charged for incest. After strong objections to bail by the prosecutor, Parham was remanded until October 28th of this year.
