Police have two victims in the hospital and two different stories in a bizarre string of shootings last night in the city.
The first alleged victim is Mario Aguilar who claims he was driving near the Lopez Mateos Park in the King's Park area when he was ambushed by two men, one of whom was armed. Aguilar told police he refused and that's when the gunman opened fire hitting him in the right arm and lower left leg. Aguilar further claims he then pulled out his licensed.380 pistol and shot one of his assailant in the chest. Who is the assailant? Well police thought it was Marvin Moguel who showed up at the khmh last night suffering from a bullet wound to his chest. But Moguel's story is that he wasn't near King's Park and instead he was on the other side of town as at the corner of Logwood and Banak Streets when he became a victim of the drive-by shooting. The story gets better because police say their investigations show both men were at the hangar area when the shooting occurred. So who is telling the truth? Well police say they are investigating.
